FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS - WEDDINGS

 

We’re more than happy to help and answer any questions you may have, but please read our frequently asked questions below before you get in touch as you’ll probably find the answer to your question right here. And if you can’t then please do ask, remember the only silly question is the one that doesn’t get asked.
 

 

  • Q. What do we have to pay to secure our Wedding date with you?
    A. We are happy to provisionally book your Wedding date free of charge for a period of 14 days until a meeting can be arranged to discuss your day in more detail and make a firm booking. A 50% deposit is then payable at the time of booking, this secures your date. The remainder is then payable no later than 30 days before your Wedding day.

 

  • Q. When do we pay for any prints or products we want?
    A. When you know what you'd like and are ready to purchase them, it's as simple as that. The main reason we don't sell packages is because we appreciate that you might not know exactly what you want to buy before you've even seen your images, so why should you. Another reason is that we understand how much money is involved in the run up to a Wedding, by not tying you into a package you're basically spreading the cost of your photography accross several months, it just takes a bit of pressure off what is already a very expensive time, which most people appreciate in this financial climate.

 

  • Q. We want an album but how much input do we have on what goes in to it, and how does it work?
    A. Our ordering process within this site allows you to choose images to go into your album at the time of order, and dictates a minimum and maximum amount of images as suggested by the album manufacturer. Once you have chosen your images from your gallery we will then design your album in a way that photographically tells the story of your Wedding Day. Once completed we will email you proof images for you to see the completed layout, once happy with that we require an email stating as such before we send your album to be printed and created. Average turnaround times are approximately 2 weeks, to ensure complete satisfaction we then quality check your album prior to being delivered to you.

 

  • Q. What if we need to move our Wedding date, due to unforeseen circumstances?
    A. Firstly, tell us as soon as you can, we're human and we fully appreciate that sometimes through no fault of your own things just happen which dictate that dates just have to change. Basically, if we can accommodate your change, we will, with no extra charge. If we can't accommodate you due to having another booking on your revised date then we will refund you any monies paid.
     

 

  • Q. What if we cancel our Wedding, Do we lose our money?
    A. Once we take a deposit from you 'although we do give you a 14 day cooling off period' this secures your date, and so we obviously turn down any other requests for any one of our services for your wedding date. If you cancel after this time you will forfeit your deposit only, as we 'may' still be able to take a booking for your cancelled date. If you cancel once you've paid in full '30 days before your wedding' unfortunately we will have very little chance of booking another wedding for your date and as such will be unable to work, so you will forfeit the full cost of our coverage fee. You'll find this is no different to any other professional wedding supplier, be it the venue, caterer, musician, dj, etc.

 

  • Q. What if we want to make a complaint about any part of your service?
    A. We value our clients and treat you as such, and work hard to ensure complete satisfaction, let's face it, without you we wouldn't have a business doing something that we genuinely love doing. Many clients refer us to their friends and extended families, but in the unlikely event that something does go wrong we will do everything we can to put it right. Our reputation is very important to us, we plan to keep it that way.
